Acoustic folk with a Celtic colour.
Yani Pearl and Martin Martis play world music with a difference.
Martin Martis is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and sound engineer.
He has played in numerous bands and projects whilst living around the world.
Working with bands, dance, theatre and radio. Primarily a master of improvisation.
Creating orchestral pieces with unexpected combinations of instruments, Martis also records and produces his own,
genre defying solo artwork.
Yani Pearl is a singer song writer from Australia, who draws her soul felt, Celtic voice in her Scottish roots.
Alongside the music, a writer of novels and insightful lyricist.
Her voice and her lyrics transmit an honest and personal view of life and the journey we are on.
She further developed her music and writing style whilst travelling the world since her early youth.
Meeting in Guatemala in 2008 and forming their band Y&M in 2015.
The unusual mix creates a new sound that is both at once familiar and captivating.
Technique and feeling melt together with two acoustic guitars, voice and silver flute.
A concert with an intimate, uplifting and open hearted atmosphere.
